Jacqui Morris and David Morris met each other in Northampton General Hospital. They subsequently worked together for years as casting directors. They are brother and sister.
Jacqui and David were nominated for two BAFTA awards for their debut biopic documentary feature McCullin about legendary war photographer, Don McCullin.
Their follow-up documentary Attacking The Devil re-opened the national debate about the horrific legacy of the thalidomide scandal and won the Special Jury Award at the Sheffield Documentary Fest and the Grierson Award for Best Historical cinema documentary.
The duo’s third feature documentary Nureyev about the extraordinary life of the iconic dancer Rudolf Nureyev, is currently on worldwide release via Universal Pictures.

In post-production is a dance-inspired adaptation of A Christmas Carol starring the voices of Simon Russell Beale, Andy Serkis, Daniel Kaluuya, Carey Mulligan and Martin Freeman, due for release Christmas 2020.
